A meeting of the Hancock County Republican Executive Committee was held at the United Bank in Weirton.
At the meeting:
Lorraine Robinson was elected to our committee representing Butler District #3. This leaves us with just 2 vacancies on our committee.
A recap of the WVGOP Presidential Convention was given.
Plans for our Lincoln Day Dinner were discussed. The dinner will be May 18th at 5:00PM at the Serbian-American Cultural Center. Tickets are $35 and reservations can be made by calling Roy James at (304) 748-0838. More information about the dinner can be found on our "Upcoming events" page.
Members were asked to find one person in each of the precincts they represent to serve as a precinct captain for the Republican Party. These captains will be a point of contact and distribution for the committee and campaigns. These captains should then find people to serve as block or neighborhood captains within their precincts.
