We were told by the media that voters would be going to the polls this year looking for change.
What change did the voters in Hancock County get?
The voters of Hancock County decided to continue the more than 50 years of absolute Democrat control of the levers and switches of power in our area.
By doing so, they have also decided to continue the abject failure that has accompanied such control.
The voters have decided to continue policies that have produced double digit inflation in our county when our national unemployment is at 4.4% and our state unemployment rate is at 5.4%.
They have decided to keep the same people in power that have done nothing to improve our situation.
One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while each time expecting a different result.
When the voters of Hancock County vote differently, they may be able to expect different results.
Instead, in this election they decided simply to respond to our represenatives with a collective "thank you sir, may I have another?".
